Recap: 2018 IPO Workshop for Emerging Growth Companies

IPO Workshop with over 100 of the hottest tech and growth companies in attendance.

Connor Group started off the year with an outstanding group of professionals from over 100 of the hottest tech and growth companies at the 2018 IPO Workshop for Emerging Growth Companies. This annual event is hosted in the same room that has hosted presidents, global leaders, and people with new thoughts and ideas since the beginning of the NYSE’s existence, making it the perfect venue. The drive, passion, innovation, and commitment to do things that the world has never seen before was clear in the room throughout the day. The morning started with an exciting visit to the trading floor for invitees. This was followed by market updates from the NYSE and Morgan Stanley. Moderated CFO and CEO panels gave professionals who have had recent successful liquidity events to share their stories and experiences. At lunch, attendees had the unique opportunity to join in on round tables with panelists and network with other companies in similar life stages as them. The discussions were hands-on and there were plentiful chances for asking questions. This year there were even special guests in attendance from the NFL. Connor Group Managing Partner, Jim Neesen, encouraged all in attendance to develop new insights and create new relationships, which was easy for participants to do at this world-class event.
