Connor Group and LeaseQuery partner in four-part leasing guidance webinar series

Connor Group and LeaseQuery are gearing up for our four-part webinar series on the new leasing guidance under ASC 842. Utilizing the LeaseQuery software in conjunction with a case study, our speakers, Dominick Kerr of Connor Group and LeaseQuery’s David Buchanan, will demonstrate how to operationally manage the challenges companies may encounter with the new guidance and how to overcome them.

The series will begin with an overview of criteria for lease clarification, guide you through determining the lease commencement date, and explain how to evaluate lease terms and the components of lease payments. In the following session, we will discuss the elements of the incremental borrowing rate, components of lease cost, and calculating lease liability. Attendees will also be presented with an overview of accounting for lease modifications and remeasurements, as well as a review of accounting for lease terminations. The series will close out with a review of lease disclosure requirements and provide an overview of how to adopt the new leasing standard.

Whether you decide to take on the entire series, or just check-in for a single session, you will emerge with a better understanding of the technical aspects of lease accounting under ASC 842 and how to operationalize its various elements.
