Connor Group to Speak at SPAC Asia Summit Virtual Conference

Since January 2020, there have been over 420 special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) formed in the U.S. alone, creating over $120 billion in proceeds. While SPACs are not new, recently they have begun to span the globe and attract interest in Asia because this process offers an alternative path to going public from a traditional IPO. As a result, the stock exchanges in Asia are moving to change the rules and allow these SPAC listings with hopes to win over local tech unicorns.

On October 7th, Connor Group’s own Ravi Kumar is speaking at the SPAC Asia Summit Virtual Conference on the “dos and don’ts” of SPAC and de-SPAC transactions. Ravi is a subject matter expert, advising companies on IPOs, direct listings, SPAC mergers, and complex technical accounting matters. His presentation will provide audiences with current trends in the SPAC landscape and an overview of the SPAC process, as well as key considerations and risks involved in SPAC transactions. He is one of many speakers on this hot topic, and we are excited to be part of the conversation!
